Referral and Promo Code Policy

1. Purpose

This Referral and Promo Code Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which customers may participate in VeloxPays’ referral programs and promotional campaigns. These initiatives are designed to reward our users for helping grow our community and to provide incentives for first-time and loyal customers.

2. Definitions

  • Referrer: An existing customer who shares their referral code or link.
  • Referee: A new customer who signs up using a referral code or link.
  • Promo Code: A promotional code provided by VeloxPays that may offer discounts, credits, or fee waivers.
  • Reward: A benefit such as account credit or fee discount earned under the program.

3. Referral Program Terms

How It Works

  • Customers receive a unique referral code or link upon registering.
  • When a new user signs up using that code or link and completes a qualifying transaction, both users become eligible for a reward.

Referral Rewards

  • Referrer: AUD $10 (or equivalent offer).
  • Referee: AUD $5 discount or credit on first transaction.

Eligibility

  • Referrer must have a verified VeloxPays account in good standing.
  • Referee must be a first-time VeloxPays user and complete their first eligible transaction (e.g., minimum AUD $250).
  • Both users must comply with all KYC/AML verification processes.

Limits

  • Max referral rewards per referrer: AUD $500 per calendar year (unless otherwise specified).
  • Referral bonuses may vary by campaign and location.

4. Promo Code Terms

How Promo Codes Work

VeloxPays may issue promotional codes that offer:

  • Fee discounts
  • Bonus credits
  • Special rates

Promo codes may be distributed through:

  • Marketing campaigns
  • Social media
  • Events or partnerships
  • Direct emails to eligible customers

Eligibility & Usage

  • Codes must be applied at checkout or during account creation.
  • Promo codes are valid only for the period stated and may have transaction minimums or restrictions.
  • A promo code can be used only once per user, unless otherwise stated.
  • Promo codes are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and cannot be combined with other offers (unless explicitly stated).

Exclusions

  • Promo codes may be restricted to specific countries, corridors, transaction types, or payment methods.
  • They may not apply to wallet-to-wallet transfers or business accounts unless specified.

5. Fraud Prevention and Disqualification

VeloxPays reserves the right to withhold or cancel rewards, promo benefits, or accounts if:

  • A referral or promo code is used fraudulently or dishonestly.
  • The same person creates multiple accounts (self-referral).
  • Suspicious or unusual transaction activity is detected.
  • Terms of this policy or our User Agreement are violated.

We may require additional verification to confirm eligibility.

6. Changes and Termination

VeloxPays reserves the right to:

  • Amend or terminate the referral and promo code programs at any time.
  • Change reward values, terms of use, or eligibility conditions without prior notice.
  • Limit participation based on region, regulatory conditions, or operational capacity.

All changes will be communicated via the website, app, or email and will take effect upon publication unless otherwise stated.

7. Tax Implications

Referral and promo rewards may constitute taxable income. Users are responsible for complying with their local tax obligations. VeloxPays will not provide tax advice or documentation unless legally required.

8. Privacy and Data Use

Participation in referral and promo programs requires sharing limited data (e.g., email, phone number) for verification and program administration. All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
